Creative Composing Lab

Compose for BCMG musicians!

Participants: ages 14-18 (school years 10-13)

Creative Composing Lab is an exciting opportunity for young people to compose for a trio of BCMG musicians guided by composer David Horne from Royal Northern College of Music.

If you love creating music or you need ideas for your GCSE, BTEC or A-level composition, Creative Composing Lab is for you.

Participants need some music notation skills. At the end of the workshop day there will be a performance music created during the day for family and friends. The concert will also be recorded and shared after the event. 

Places are free, but need to be booked in advance. A suggested donation of £12 per participant will ensure we can continue our workshop programme.
